Uganda Tourism to gain with the visit of Supermodel Marlina

Uganda Tourism is yet again graced by the visit of America’s Super Model Marlina Moreno, shortly after ATA Congress which was held in November 2014. The Model along with a team of high profile Americans are to undertake a 21 Days Uganda Tour starting on the 17th of January to explore Uganda’s tourist attractions. During the 21 days they are to hike to Margherita Peak, the highest point of the Rwenzoris. Rwenzori Mountain is the highest mountain ranges in the world and in 150 A.D, Ptolemy named them the ‘Mountains of the Moon’. The team will visit Murchison falls National Park for wildlife viewing, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla tracking, and Source of the Nile among others to complete their Ugandan safari.

The major aim of her Uganda tour is to showcase Uganda’s tourism attractions to countless Americans. She intends to produce a documentary and make publicity on her number of travel platforms like Examiner.com, wheninmanila.com, Huffintonpost.com, BrunetteAbroad.com. The videos will be featured on at least two top lifestyle and travel websites as well as the filming of an eco-travel show pilot as part of a travel series pitch about Africa.

Uganda’s top tourism attractions include; Mountain gorillas, High concentration of primates like Chimpanzees, Abundant wildlife, rich bird species, River Nile, Murchison Falls, Mountain Rwenzori, the friendly people and the rich culture.

Mareno is a super model based in Los- Angeles, TV host and a former National Football League cheerleader. She has modeled for various brands like Samsung, NIKE, Canon, Siemens, Virgin Atlantic.

In her own words, she says; “The series will follow my work as a travel writer and film maker and highlight my transition from NFL Cheerleader, model and television host to wildlife conservationist and eco-adventurer exploring all that Uganda in particular and Africa in general has to offer,”

Uganda Tourism Board together with Rwenzori Mountaineering Services are in charge of the team’s tour. The good news is that all Ugandans can participate in the Margherita Hike together with the model.
